Frenchs Forest Market

Pate and saucisson.

Today Mark and I went to the Frenchs Forest market and enjoyed delicious French crepes for breakfast sitting on the grass out in the sun. We then wondered around the market, speaking to producers about the delicasies they were selling. Just as last time, we had to limit what we came home with, as it is easy for Mark and I to get carried away. So today we got pate from a small producer, saucisson (French salami) from a French couple running a store, and rare bread pork belly.

We enjoyed the pate and some saucisson for a late lunch today, and have lots of yumminess to look forward to tomorow. Including the first eggs from our chickens for breakfast, and pork belly for dinner.
