After surviving the Resolution Run (just) I'm back training for the next goal. The Dee Why to Manly Sun Run adds an extra kilometer to the package and throws in some hills just for giggles. To add to the pressure it is on Saturday 4th February, which is only 18 sleeps away, and I lost a week to a cold. So tonight I went for what is a fast run for me and did 1.5km at a pace of 6min/km, I even pushed myself to run down a small hill and then jog back up it!
Tomorrow morning I need to do a 30 minute slow jog at a respectable pace....and I need to find a good play list for jogging. Any suggestions? Keeping in mind that 6min/km is my sprinting pace.
I STILL don't know why I'm doing this to myself, but running is getting easier.
